Minimum Qualifications:
- A doctorate in Communications or closely related field (must have doctorate by the time of appointment, September 2013)
- Previous College-level teaching experience with evidence of teaching effectiveness
- Current or recent corporate or industrial experience in a field directly related to Professional Communications
- The ability to work effectively with diverse groups
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Experience in using the Blackboard online course platform
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, industry, and diverse populations
**Evidence of teaching may consist of student course evaluations, course syllabi, results of classroom observations, etc.
