Love eating Rick Bayless's cooking, but tired of having to wait in line--nay, leave your house--for a plateful at Frontera?
If you've also got $15,000 handy, you could vie for a spot at the Chicago chef's first-ever cooking class, being auctioned off to benefit his Frontera Farmer Foundation, which awards capital development grants to small, sustainable farms in the Chicago area.
In the event description, Bayless promises to guide four guests through "his favorite techniques and secret tips for making flawless Mexican food," hosted in his home kitchen, with a special tour of his backyard production garden.
Bidding closes June 10, and the two offers already in have raised the price up to $5,350 as of Sunday. Unwilling to wait? For $15,000 you can seal the deal today.
